About Luisa Giraldo
Luisa Giraldo, CMT, e-RYT 200 earned her B.A. in Psychology at a prestigious University in Bogota, Colombia. One focus of her work there was in the field of dance therapy. After moving to the United States, Luisa completed a 500-hour training program at Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington DC.
She is licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Since 2005, Luisa has practiced massage therapy in the Washington metropolitan area. She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Barefoot Massage, Prenatal and Postpartum massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage and is a Reiki master.
Luisa completed her 200 hour certification in Integral Yoga at Yogaville in Virginia. Her background in Psychology, Dance therapy, Therapeutic Massage and Yoga bring depth and dimension to her work with her clients.Luisa currently spends her time in US and Colombia.
She also has been a Spanish language teacher for over 15 years. She has used the Waldorf education approach for teaching children and created her own method to teach adults. She enjoys traveling, hiking, natural holistic medicine, photography and always learning more about healing practices
